Since 1988 The Twin Cessna Flyer (TTCF) has been the official type club supporting the twin engine 300/400 series Cessna aircraft. We represent all models (except the Skymaster) ranging from the earliest 310 all the way up to the 441 Conquest II and all models in between. Our organization is dedicated to the preservation and safe operation of the fleet. We work closely with other type clubs through the EAA Type Club Coalition.

One of our most important functions is our behind-the-scenes work with the FAA, Textron/Cessna Aircraft, the NTSB, and other stakeholder organizations to protect the interests of Twin Cessna owners. We are the recognized experts in these aircraft and are consulted regularly by these groups.

We have over 1,800 members in 49 countries around the world and have been growing steadily since 2010. About half our members own Cessna 310s and other non-pressurized aircraft and the other half own cabin class Twin Cessnas.

One of the most important benefits we provide to our members is technical support. Our Director of Technical Support is Tony Saxton, founder and owner of TAS Aviation in Defiance, OH. His shop has been maintaining Twin Cessnas almost exclusively since 1976 and today works on about 150 aircraft a year.

Other member benefits include:

  • A monthly color magazine focused exclusively on Twin Cessnas
  • An annual Fly-In Convention at resort locations
  • Technical seminars on Twin Cessna Systems and Engines held 3 times a year
  • An active online Member Forum & Social Media presence
  • Oshkosh events including a Forum and member dinner
  • Periodic group flying adventures
  • Informational webinars

TAS Aviation now leads the day to day operations of the Twin Cessna Flyer. As of January 1st 2022, TAS took over operations of the organization from Bob Thomason and has been committed to continuing the tradition of preservation and safety that has been long the focus of the organization.

The Twin Cessna Flyer is supported by a group of member’s that serve on a voluntary Advisory Board. These folks serve as a sounding board and ambassador for the organization and assist TAS in ensuring that the organization is offering all of the resources it can to its members.
